  1.                    GSVIEW FREE PUBLIC LICENCE

  5. This Licence applies to the computer program known as "GSview."  
  6. The "Program", below, refers to such program, and a "work
  7. based on the Program" means either the Program or any derivative work of
  8. the Program, such as a translation or a modification.  
  9. The Program is a copyrighted work whose copyright is held by Russell
  10. Lang (the "Licensor").

  12. BY MODIFYING OR DISTRIBUTING THE PROGRAM (OR ANY WORK BASED ON THE
  13. PROGRAM), YOU INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS LICENSE TO DO SO, AND ALL
  14. ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTING OR MODIFYING THE PROGRAM
  15. OR WORKS BASED ON IT.  NOTHING OTHER THAN THIS LICENSE GRANTS YOU

  99. 3.  Reservation of Rights.

  101. No rights are granted to the Program except as expressly set forth herein.

  103. expressly provided under this Licence.  Any attempt otherwise to copy,
  104. modify, sublicense or distribute the Program is void, and will
  105. automatically terminate your rights under this Licence.  However, parties
  106. who have received copies, or rights, from you under this Licence will not
  107. have their licences terminated so long as such parties remain in full
  108. compliance.

  110. 4.  Other Restrictions.

  113. countries for any reason, Licensor may add an explicit geographical
  114. distribution limitation excluding those countries, so that distribution is
  115. permitted only in or among countries not thus excluded.  In such case,
  116. this Licence incorporates the limitation as if written in the body of this
  117. Licence.

  119. 5.  Limitations.

  121. THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY.  THERE IS NO
  122. WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
  123. LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
  124. PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.  THE ENTIRE
  125. RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU.  SHOULD
  126. THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY
  127. SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

  129. IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL
  130. LICENSOR, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR REDISTRIBUTE THE
  131. PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY
  132. GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE
  133. USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF
  134. DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD
  135. PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS),
  136. EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
  137. SUCH DAMAGES.

  141. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, 
  142. Australia, excluding choice of law rules.
